Dr. Vikas Soota - BDS,DDS.FAGE
Born and raised in New Delhi India, Dr. Soota graduated from dental school in 1997. After being granted the Fellow of Academy of General Education, he moved to Canada, and obtained his DDS in 2002 from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. The South Asian Professionals of Canada awarded him the "Certificate of Excellence" for outstanding and lasting contribution in the field of medical scientology in 2004. He also successfully achieved a certificate in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Vikas enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. He is a huge cricket fan, and an avid supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Dr. Eitan Keren, B Sc, DDS
Dr. Eitan Keren joined us in Jul 2008. He received his DDS from the University of Toronto and an Honours B. Sc in Human Biology. He has independently treated patients in private practice and in hospital dental clinics In addition, he has been involved in dental research, and has had the privilege of presenting his findings for The International Association for Dental Research, IADR Research Conference 2004 in Hawaii. Dr. Keren is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, American Association of Cosmetic Dentists, Implant Mentor Study Club, North Toronto Dental Society, and Alpha Omega. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has great interest in implantology and cosmetic dentistry. His enjoyment comes from treating patients of all ages, from the very young to the elderly.
Dr. David Craig- DMD
Dr. David Craig began his career in 1997 and has had extensive training in intravenous sedation, wisdom teeth and difficult extractions and implant placement. He shares his expertise with several practices throughout Ontario. Dr. Craig resides in Toronto with his wife Krista and son, and when he is not practicing dentistry, they enjoy many outdoor activities,including travelling and boating. His professional affiliations include; Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. His relaxed manner and terrific expertise is a welcome addition to our practice.
Dr. David Leung - Periodontist
Dr. Leung grew up in Toronto, where he attended Upper Canada College for 11 years. He is an avid swimmer and badminton player in High School and lead his teams to Province Championships. He attended New York University where he received degrees in Finance and Biochemistry. He loved his years in New York as he has a great passion for art galleries, museums and the New York Yankees. After college, he moved to Philadelphia where he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, receiving both his doctorate and periodontics training. After 11 years away from Toronto, David moved back home where he finally has more time for his hobbies. He is also an avid cook -- particularly in asian seafood cuisine and love trying out new sushi restaurants. He also enjoys working out and playing softball in a local church league.
Steven Leung DDS MD - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Steven Leung was born in Toronto and subsequently moved to the United States after completing his high school education at Upper Canada College. Completing only 2 years of undergraduate studies, he was accepted into Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. After achieving his doctoral degree (DDS), Dr. S. Leung underwent a rigorous surgical internship at the University of Pennsylvania and then pursued his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University while also obtaining his degree in medicine (MD). Dr. S. Leung's area of interest include extracting wisdom teeth, placing dental implants, bone grafting, and jaw (orthognathic) surgery. He enjoys being able to provide IV and deep sedation for anxious patients requiring oral surgery procedures. In his free time, Dr. S. Leung is an avid golfer and likes to play indoor and beach volleyball. He also loves to travel abroad whenever given the opportunity to help those who have limited access to dental healthcare.
Tanya - Front Desk co-ordinator
Tanya joined our team in May 2009. Having graduated from a private College, for Medical Office Assistant Diploma, she completed her internship in a multi-physician Medical Clinic. She recently made the transition to the dental field with relative ease. Tanya takes pride in providing efficient and quality care to all of her patients. Her beautiful smile and friendly demeanour make Tanya a welcome addition to our front desk staff.
Toni Clarke - Front Desk Co-Ordinator
Thanks to Toni's charming smile you will be welcomed at Meadowvale Dental with a warm smile every time. Toni joined our admin team in March 2010. With her smiles and jokes she complements our admin team very nicely. Along with being very serious about her job she enjoys it a lot. Her accreditations include graduating from CDI college in 2006 as a Dental Assistant and HARP certification. When not working, Toni likes dancing, singing and reading.
Ela - Office Manager
Ela joined Meadowvale in 2005, and brings 8 years of experience in the dental profession with her. Her knowledge and self-confidence well qualifies her for her role as Office Manager - the "go to" person for all the answers to your most pertinent questions. Ela's friendly personality and willingness to assist our patients to her utmost, makes her a very welcome and valuable member of the Meadowvale Dental family.
Susan - Registered Dental Hygienist
Susan graduated from St. Clair College in Windsor, On in 1983. In 1984, after practicing her craft in a periodontist office, Susan chose to join Meadowvale Dental. She has been a welcome team member ever since. Susan's loyalty and dedication not only to us, but to her patients as well, reflects in their dedication to her, and their dental care.
Tanu - Registered Dental Hygienist
Tanu graduated from the Toronto School of business in 1995 as a Dental Assistant. In August of that year, she joined Meadowvale Dental. In 1996, she successfully completed the Level 2 program at George Brown College. Tanu furthered her studies in 2002, graduating from Canador College in North Bay as a Dental Hygienist. In the fall of the 2005, she successfully acquired her diploma from George Brown College as a Restorative Hygienist. Tanu has remained a loyal and dedicated member of our team, and her gentle manner and easy smile will make the most nervous patient feel relaxed.
Brenda- Registered Dental Hygienist
Brenda graduated from the Toronto School of Business in 1989 as a dental assistant. She became a Dental Hygienist in 1994 after successfully completing the program at George Brown College. Brenda spent the first couple of years in her new career working in a variety of dental offices, including a paedodontist's office, before finally settling in with us ten years ago. Brenda's ability to charm the most anxious patient and her gentle touch make her a most valuable member of our team.
Beverly - Dental Assistant
Beverly has joined Meadowvale family in Jan 2007. After graduating from the Toronto School of Business in 1991, Bev worked with a variety of dentists in the Mississauga area. After taking a four year absence to raise her family, Beverly completed the Level 2 program at George Brown College. Her easy-going attitude makes Bev easily approachable.
Catherine MacGowan – Assistant
Cathy was born and raised in Toronto, where she began her career in dentistry. She joined Meadowvale Dental in 1984. Cathy's experience and winning smile is a welcome asset to our practice. She currently resides in Burlington with her husband and their three children.
